• Women and Girls Disability Rights of Zambia
• (WoGDRoZ) WoGDRoZ has approached the initiative to fashion an innovative space committed to enhance and improve the livelihood of mainly women and girls with disabilities with inclusion of none-disabled vulnerable women and girls through maximum and critical interaction with the mainstream having “I will do my part with perfection” as a single minded purpose.

 Vision

To see-An inclusive friendly society for all where women and girls with disabilities are empowered, have equal opportunities and participate fully in social, cultural, economic, community and political development.

 Mission

To promote inclusion, disability and gender equity and equality through addressing human rights issues that, to a larger extent, hinder the progression of women and girls with disabilities in their pursuit for freedom of expression and full participation in their societies

• Objectives

• Address and prevent human rights violation against women and girls with disabilities.
• Produce documentations on human rights issues
• Promote inclusion of women, and girls with disabilities into the mainstream of Society.
• Foster the spirit of self-confidence, responsibility, independent living, socialization and empowerment in Women and Girls with disabilities.
• Sensitize women and girls with disabilities on the UNCRDP, CEDAW convention and/or any relevant legal documents to enlighten them on their rights and take into account the particular problems faced and the significant roles which they play and engage the in social debates with regard to their rights and endeavour to lobby and or engage relevant authorities (e.g. Government) for interpretation and legislation of such rights.
• Train various NGOs and individuals on Disability Equality Training and women rights.

Currently VIP is running a Women with Disabilities Enabled Projects (WODEP) programme with the support from Knnys (Threshold) in Finland under Women and Girls Disability Rights of Zambia
